Over 2,500 officials have attended training during 2023 at the Academy

Vushtrri, January 19, 2024 - In the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS), during the year 2023 over 2,500 members of public safety in Kosovo and beyond have been trained, while over 80 trainings have been held.



In the Academy, which is the highest institution for the training of members of public safety in Kosovo, many other activities related to the field of safety in the country have been developed.


During the past year, trainings were held by all public safety agencies such as: Kosovo Police (KP), Kosovo Correctional Service (KCS), Kosovo Customs (KC), Emergency Management Agency (EMA), Police Inspectorate of Kosovo (PIK), etc.



In support of two international partners, such as the Organization for Security and European Cooperation (OSCE) and (ICITAP), the Academy has always offered high-quality professional training with international standards.



In addition to the participants from Kosovo, members of public safety from the regional countries and beyond were also trained at the Academy. The academy has become the primary location for public safety trainings.



Otherwise, the vision of the Academy is to prepare and train officials in the future who take care of maintaining order and safety for all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.
