Director Berisha signed the cooperation agreement with ATRC

Vushtrri, 12 August 2021 - Following the cooperation in the field of training, the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS), today signed a cooperation agreement with the Advocacy Training and Resource Center.


The agreement was signed between the General Director of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety Arton Berisha and the Executive Director of the Advocacy Training and Resource Center Kushtrim Kaloshi.


The aim of the agreement is the cooperation between the two institutions as well as the support of strategic objectives in the field of training for law enforcement.


During the signing of the agreement, both parties agreed to cooperate through joint activities for the training of law enforcement officers in the Republic of Kosovo on the topic of "Hate Crimes".


On this occasion, the General Director of the Kosovo Academy for Security Arton Berisha said that the Academy is ready to establish cooperation with any institution that deals with security in order to advance law enforcement.


The signing of the cooperation agreement was welcomed by the Executive Director of Advocacy Training and Resource Center Kushtrim Kaloshi, saying that the agreement in question contributes to the benefit of both institutions Academy and ATRC.


Both sides assessed that the signing of the agreement opens the way for cooperation in the field of training aimed at advancing all those involved in the field of justice and security.


Based on the agreement, both parties agreed to take joint actions to organize trainings for law enforcement, respectively KAPS stakeholders on the topic "Hate crimes"; to support each other in developing capacities and skills for a full potential in taking action to improve the institutional response to hate crimes and to provide mutual assistance to successfully organize and implement training processes, etc.


Advocacy Training and Resource Center is a non-governmental and non-profitable organization of Kosova that works to increase the participation of citizens and civil society in decision-making, as a prerequisite for a developed democratic and stable regional society.
