23 members of Fire Brigade Service graduated at the Kosovo Police Center for Public Safety and Education

Vushtrri, 15 may 2009 – After 2 weeks trainings, at the KPCSED have graduated new fire brigade officers.
At the graduation ceremony were participated: Permanent Secretary of Internal Affairs, Sebahate Muharremi, Acting Directory of Emergency Managing Department, Ramadan Krasniqi,Acting KPCSED Directory  Lulzim Fushtica, Lieutenant Colonel Driton Zabërgja,Tahir Krasniqi from Kosovo Correction Service,Heinz Schneider from OSCE, Major  of Mamusha Municipality Arif Bytyqi as well as other KPCSED higher officials.
   
Permanent Secretary of MIA congratulated new fire brigade officials for the graduation. Thanking especially Serbian and Turkish participants for joining to Fire Brigade Service.  

Lulzim Fushtica  on behalf of KPCSED congratulated the new graduated and cited that Ministry of Internal Affairs consecration will continue to support the  Agencies for Public Safety  so in the future these agencies to be independent on fulfilling their mission.  

Meanwhile Mr. Heinz Schneider specified the firefighters as a hero’s, with main role to protect citizens   lives and property. I will encourage the Kosovo Institutions to support Fire Brigade Service, although their role is very important in protecting Citizens lives and properties, cited Mr.Schneider.   

On today’s   ceremony, on behalf of Serbian participants talked one of the serbian graduated, expressing that he is very happy for the time spent at the KPCSED during these two weeks. On behalf of Serbian nationality, I am thanking for the treatment during these two weeks, we were feeling as in our houses’, said one of the serbian nationality.  

This generation is numbering 23 members; most of them are coming from Hani I Elezit and Mamusha Municipality, municipalities which are in development process of Fire Brigade Service.
From the Serbian Nationality were six participants   and this the first time that members from this Nationality are joining to the Fire Brigade Service.
