Participants of the conference "Interaction with networks" visited Academy

Vushtrri, 28 October 2015 - In the framework of the regional conference "Interaction with networks and comparative approach to police education", organized by the Kosovo Police, Kosovo Academy for Public Safety and the OSCE mission in Kosovo, participants of the conference  today visited the Academy.  
In honor of the delegation it was organized parades of the 53 th generation of the Kosovo Police cadets.
To the participants spoke General Director of the Academy, Ismail Smakiqi who welcomed the participants. Smakiqi by wishing cadets success in their road to accession to the Kosovo Police, said that the Academy is and will continue to be the main institution for the training of members of public safety. 
Smakiqi said that Academy has cooperation with countries in the region and beyond, in the field of security. He also said that the Academy is a member of several international associations.  
While Nikola Dujovski vice Dean at the Faculty of Safety in Skopje, during his speech to 53 generation of cadets, appreciate the regional conference "Interaction with other networks and comparative access to police education", it is very important for all participating countries, where they can exchange experiences and ideas. "It is very important for the police forces of the region to have the same level of training program," express Dujovski saying that the police are not a force, but is a service to citizens. 
Meanwhile, Director of Human Resources Department of the Kosovo Police, Agron Rrukiqi, wished the young cadets of the Kosovo Police to complete basic training with success. "You as 53 generation of cadets of the police should feel very proud. Wishing that this part of theoretical and practical training in the Academy, which lasts six months, you will complete successfully, "said Rrukiqi.
