Professors of University “Utah Valley” visited the Academy

Vushtrri, 7 May 2014 – Today, the Director of Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS), Mr. Ismail Smakiqi hosted a delegation of university “Utah Valley” from United States of America.
The visit of the delegation, headed by Professor Mr. John Fisher, aimed to get familiar with the process of education and the exchanges of experience among university “Utah Valley” and KAPS. 
Director Smakiqi briefed the delegation about the background of the Academy, about important processes in which our institution is going through.
Mr. Smakiqi during the meeting thanked the U.S. for the continuous assistance to Kosovo and highly praised their contribution that had given on building the security institutions, in particular for the Academy.
“The U.S. cooperation and assistance is necessary for our country”, says Smakiqi, adding that the cooperation with the U.S. would continue further.

Whereas above-mentioned delegation, expressed their interest to develop trainings at KAPS.  At the same time they expressed their willingness to cooperate.
