General Director of the Academy, Ismail Smakiqi hosted a delegation from the Turkish National Police Academy

Vushtrri, March 6, 2012 - General Director of Kosovo Academy of Public Safety, Ismail Smakiqi hosted a delegation from the Turkish National Police Academy, led by the rector, Zühtü Arslan.
During the meeting Smakiqi informed the delegation about the priorities, organizational structure and key projects in KAPS. He also spoke of the twinning project with the State of Finland and Estonia, the European Commission project that has to do with improving education in the public safety sector in the Republic of Kosova.
Smakiqi appreciated the continued support that Turkey has given to the Republic of Kosova, in particular for the Academy, stressing that this cooperation will be further expanded in the professional progress of the public safety members.
Representative of the Kosova Police in KAPS, Lieutenant Colonel Driton Zabërgja thanked the Turkish National Police Academy in particular instructors, because the given and continue to  give experiences and contributions have a great importance in training of the Kosova Police.
While the director of the Turkish Academy, Zühtü Arslan expressed willingness that in the future to continue this cooperation between the two Academies.
