The International Children's Day is celebrated at the Academy

Vushtrri, June 01. 2022 – On the occasion of International Children's Day, the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS) today opened its doors for children to visit the Academy.

In honor of this holiday, the students of the Primary School "Xhemajl Mustafa" in Pristina, visited the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety, they were hosted by the staff of the Academy, by the instructors of the Kosovo Police and by the advisor of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) at the Academy Shpresa Muharremi.

Welcoming the students and congratulate them an International Children's Day, the instructors demonstrated to the students some tactics on protecting children from dangers such as natural, technological and human factors.

The children visited the premises of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety, visited the classrooms where trainings for members of public safety are held, sports halls, training grounds, logistics facilities, webinar room and showroom of uniforms of public safety institutions in Kosovo, etc.

The students expressed their emotions through various questions, expressed their interest in the activities and trainings held at the Academy, at the same time expressing their desire to become part of public safety institutions when they grow up..

The purpose of this activity was for children to learn closely where public safety members are trained, such as Kosovo Police, Kosovo Customs, Kosovo Correctional Service, Emergency Management Agency (firefighters) Kosovo Probation Service, etc.
