Director Berisha met with Director Anderson
Vushtrri, 03 March 2021 – Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS) was visited today by the Director of the Department for Public Order and Safety in the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe with a mission in Kosovo Edward Anderson, where he was hosted by the General Director Arton Berisha.
During the meeting both sides pledged to continue the cooperation further in the implementation of the projects of the Academy related to the field of training for law enforcement.
General Director Arton Berisha thanked the OSCE for the support given to Kosovo in building safety institutions.
Also, Director Berisha estimated that with the help of international partners such as the OSCE, many projects related to the field of security have been implemented.
Berisha also spoke about the processes that the Academy is going through, while expressing full readiness for cooperation with the OSCE and all public safety agencies.
Meanwhile, the OSCE Director of the Department for Public Order and Safety Edward Anderson confirmed that the OSCE's support for the Academy will never be lacking, emphasizing that the public safety sector is of particular importance to the country.
