Police Director of Macedonia visited KCPSED

Vushtrri, 18 December 2009-Kosovo Centre for Public Safety, Education and Development was visited by a Macedonian delegation led by Police Director of Macedonia Mr. Lupço Todorovski. The delegation was accompanied by Director of Police of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Sheremet Ahmeti.

The delegation was hosted by KCPSED Acting Chief Executive, Miss. Taibe Canolli, Director of Administration and Logistics Mr.Pronaj, Acting Director of Program Support Mr.Bajgora, Lt / Colonel Driton Zabergja, from DEM and Managing staff of the Centre.

Miss. Canolli during the meeting informed more closely about the work, making a presentation regarding the mission, vision, transition phase, legislation, training and activities that Kosovo Centre for Public Safety, Education and Development develops. Also Miss. Canolli thanked the delegation from Macedonia for the continued support they have provided to our Centre, and stressed that cooperation in the future would be in the field of security which will contribute to two states

Police Director of Macedonia Ljupco Todorovski, stressed that your centre has a European organizational structure, where such organization produces professional staff in the field of security. I got good impressions today from the Safety Centre; I will follow these impressions to our Government. Our cooperation with KCPSED will continue in the future in exchanging experiences of two neighbouring states.

General Director of the Kosovo Police Mr.Sheremet Ahmeti stressed that our cooperation with the Macedonian state in safety field security is very good which will continue in the future.

The delegation also made a visit around the facilities of the Centre to get familiar with the infrastructure and some equipment with which officials are trained Public Safety agencies
