Mr. Smakiqi hosted a delegation of the European Union

Vushtrri, 05 December 2013 – An European Union delegation, made by 50 persons leaded by Mr. Stock Churtof  visit Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS) and they were hosted by General Director Mr. Ismail Smakiqi.
While thanking the European Union that through various projects is helping Kosovo, the Director Smakiqi spoke abort the Twinning Project which is funded by the European Commission in Kosovo.
Mr. Smakiqi had informed the delegation that the project in question has to do with improving education in public safety and security sectors. 
Beside other, the Director Smakiqi also informed the delegation about trainings, activities, and the mission of the Academy. He spoke about the important processes through which the Academy had passed from its establishment until now.

Meanwhile, the participants expressed their interest for specialized training, advanced   as well as about various issues related to security sectors.

In the end of the meeting, Mr. Smakiqi thanked the delegation and all international partners for the continuous help they had given and continue to give to build institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and particularly for the Academy.
The delegation included officials from the Sector of Cooperation and Finance in the EU Office in Kosovo
