Representative from the Academy participate in the workshop organized by NQA

Vushtrri, December 12, 2023 –  The representative from the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS), Mr. Emin Uka, Head of the Division for Quality Assurance, participated in the workshop related to the Monitoring and Registration of the National Qualifications Framework.

In this workshop, which was organized by the National Qualification Authority in cooperation with ALLED 2, the presentation of the draft-manual for monitoring after the accreditation of  Education and Vocational Training Institutions was made.

This draft aims to monitor the performance of VET Institution and ascertain the fulfillment of validation and accreditation criteria as well as to expand the opportunities of students/cadets and access to use the provision of reliable and quality guaranteed qualifications.

In this workshop, the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety was also presented as an Education and Professional Training Institution with validated trainings.

During this workshop, the Academy presented its experiences within the accreditation processes, including the international accreditation process, with special emphasis on the monitoring part.

KAPS has welcomed the digitization of the NQA process, which facilitates work in the processes of approval of professional standards, procedures for validation of qualifications and enrollment of cadets.

During this workshop, the two formats of the draft reports after the monitoring process were presented, the draft monitoring report by the NQA experts and the draft monitoring report of the NQA staff.

Also, in this workshop was presented the first draft of the Administrative Instruction for monitoring after accreditation of Vocational Education and Training Institutions.
