Deputy Director Jashari met with INL director Tamra Greig

Vushtrri, Sep.21.2022 – The Deputy General Director of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (AKSP) Kastriot Jashari, met today with the newly appointed director of the Office for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) in Kosovo Tamra Greig, as well as the former director of the INL Shawn Waddoups. 

The purpose of the visit of the INL delegation was for Greig to be informed more closely about the developments at the Academy, whilef or the former director of INL was a farewell visit. 

During the meeting, Deputy Director Jashari thanked Director Waddoups for his commitment, work and excellent cooperation with the Academy during his mandate in Kosovo.  

On this occasion, Jashari mentioned with special emphasis the contribution of the United States of America, specifically the American Embassy in Kosovo, ICITAP, INL for the unsparing help it has given and is giving to the Academy and all security institutions in the country. 

Jashari wished former INL director Shawn Waddoups success and good work wherever he is. 

Director Jashari expressed his desire to have good cooperation and relations with the American Embassy, the Office for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs and ICITAP in the future.. 

At the same time, Jashari welcomes Tamra Greig to her new position, who was appointed director of the Office for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) in Kosovo.

Jashari reiterated the good cooperation with INL and expressed his willingness to commit to deepening this cooperation in the field of public safety. 

Meanwhile, the former director of the Office for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) in Kosovo, Shawn Waddoups, after calling the period of his service in Kosovo very important, congratulates the Academy for its achievements so far. 

He said that during his stay in Kosovo, there was excellent cooperation with all security institutions in the country.

While the newly appointed director of INL Tamra Greig thanked director Jashari for the reception, while expressing her willingness to continue cooperation with the Academy in the field of public safety training.  

Also present at the meeting were the director of the Department for Finance and General Services Rrahim Rexha, Avni Istrefi the head of the Division for Foreign Relations and Fitim Osmani the head of the Division for Strategic Planning.
