The Pre-Sport Games

Vushtrri, November 16, 2024 - In the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS), the pre-sports games "Kosovo 2024 Pre-Sports Games - Marathon of Opportunities" were held today for people with special needs.

At the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety, as before, this year too, the Pre Sports games for people with special needs have been organized.

The Chairperson of the Pre-Olympic Committee of Kosovo, Njomza Emini, thanked the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, the NATO KFOR Mission represented by General Enrico Barduani, as well as the many sponsors who have enabled the organization and realization of this very important event.

Meanwhile, the Acting Director General of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety Mr. Kastriot Jashari, in a word of the occasion, greeted the attendees starting with the General of KFOR Mr. Barduani, the Paralympic Committee, the contestants of this event, and all the attendees. He also emphasizes that this activity has been organized in the KAPS together with the OSCE, KFOR and other partners for two decades.

In this ceremony, in addition to the opening speeches, the General of KFOR presents a donation to the Paralympic Committee of Kosovo.

The games in which the contestants will participate are: Wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball, Table tennis, Chess games, Goal for the blind, Judo with Paralympic rules, Arm wrestling, Blind football, Wheelchair running, etc.

These games were organized by the Kosovo Paralympic Committee supported by KAPS and other mechanisms.
