A delegation from the NATO Advisory and Liaison Team visited the Academy

Vushtrri, June 24, 2024 –   Acting Director General of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS), Mr. Kastriot Jashari, hosted today for a meeting a delegation from the NATO Advisory and Liaison Team (NALT) composed of US Army Colonel Gregory Motz, US Army Lieutenant Colonel Elisha S. Mejia and German Army Lieutenant Colonel Maximilian Sucfűll.



The purpose of the visit was to get more information about the proximity to the mission and vision of the Academy, as well as discussions about the possibility of cooperation in the field of training.



Acting Director General of the Academy, Mr. Kastriot Jashari, informed the NATO military delegation about the developments, achievements and activities held at KAPS.



During the meeting, director Jashari spoke about the cooperation that the Academy has with international security institutions inside and abroad the state of Kosovo.



Director Jashari expressing his willingness to continue cooperation in the field of training with all international partners, he highly appreciates the cooperation that the Academy has with partners such as; NATO and the USA.



While, on behalf of the delegation from the NATO Advisory and Liaison Team (NALT), Colonel Gregory Motz, expressing their willingness to support the Academy in realizing the needs in the field of training of public safety officials.



In the end, Director Jashari thanked the NATO Advisory and Liaison Team for their willingness to support the Academy even further.



During this visit, the NATO Advisory and Liaison Team visited the KAPS’s campus.



Visit of the delegation from the NATO Advisory and Liaison Team was carried out in cooperation with the delegation of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo led by the Director of the Department of Public Order and Security in the OSCE, Mr. Edward Anderson, accompanied by Mrs. Shpresa Muharremi, advisor for the KAPS in the OSCE, as well as Mr. Bylent Ribari, Program Assistant in the OSCE.
