Director Jashari met with the Director of the Department for NATO and Security Policy, Prindon Sadriu
Vushtrri, February 14, 2024 – The acting Director General of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety, Kastriot Jashari, today hosted the director of the Department for NATO and Security Policy in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora in Kosovo, Prindon Sadriu, accompanied by Lulëzim Pllana, head of Division for Security Policy and Saranda Stublla official of the diplomatic mission in the MFAD.
The purpose of this visit was to discuss the possibility of international cooperation in the development of training in the field of security in the country.
The acting Director General of KAPS, Kastriot Jashari, informed the delegation about the role and mandate of the Academy. During this meeting, Jashari mentioned the achievements that have been realized, as well as the challenges that the Academy has gone through.
On this occasion, Jashari made a detailed presentation about the training structure, about the cooperation that the Academy has with international security institutions, as well as about the processes that KAPS is going through.
In the framework of the cooperation that the Academy has with local and international security institutions, the parties during the meeting agreed that this cooperation should be expanded even more.
Mentioning several trainings that have been carried out at the Academy for international public security officials, Jashari said that the Academy has the capacity and is ready for this cooperation to continue further.
Meanwhile, the director of the Department for NATO and Security Policy in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora in Kosovo, Prindon Sadriu, highly appreciated the achievements of the Academy.
Director Sadriu spoke about the priority that MFAD has, such as membership in international and regional security organizations. He estimated that this mission is fulfilled by strengthening local and international cooperation in the field of security.
The delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora in Kosovo visited the campus of the Academy.
