Director Jashari participated in the "Forum for strategic cooperation" in EUROPOL

The Hague/Netherlands, January 31, 2024 – The acting Director General of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety, Kastriot Jashari, is participating in the activity "Forum for strategic cooperation", organized by CEPOL and EUROPOL.  

The purpose of this event was to discuss with the representatives of the participating countries about the WB PaCT project, a CEPOL project, against crime and terrorism in the Western Balkans.

During the holding of this forum, the director of the Academy, Kastriot Jashari, made a presentation on how the Academy responds to the needs of the Kosovo Police for capacity building, the trainings that take place in the fight against organized crime and terrorism, etc.

Director Jashari also spoke about the international cooperation that the Academy has over the years with different countries in Europe and beyond.

This forum was attended by Director Jashari together with the Director General of the Kosovo Police, Gazmend Hoxha, Rron Krasniqi, representative from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and Besnik Sallahu, liaison officer at EUROPOL.

The side from Kosovo expressed its willingness to continue the cooperation with EUROPL and CEPOL in the future.

This forum was held at EUROPOL, headquartered in The Hague, and lasted two consecutive days.
