At the Academy was completed the School of Police Staff and Command program
Vushtrri, November 10, 2023 – At the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety, forty officials of public safety institutions completed the School of Police Staff and Command program.
This school was organized by the Center for Public Safety at Northwestern University in the United States of America (USA), and was supported by the International Crime Investigation Training Support Program (ICITAP) in Kosovo.
The graduation ceremony was attended by; the ambassador of the United States of America in Kosovo, Jeffrey M. Hovenier, the minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu, the deputy minister of Internal Affairs, Blerim Gashani, the acting director general of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety, Kastriot Jashari, director general of the Kosovo Police, Gazmend Hoxha, ICITAP Program manager Kimberly Riffe as well as other representatives of local and international institutions.
From those present, the program of this school was evaluated as very important in raising the professional level and gaining knowledge in the field of public safety.
Otherwise, the School of Police Staff and Command is the seventh time that it is held at the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety and lasts ten weeks. The lecturers at this school were professors from Northwestern University.
