Director Jashari signed a memorandum of understanding with the Kosovo Correctional Service and the Kosovo Probation Service

Vushtrri, September 21, 2023 - Following cooperation with public safety institutions in Kosovo, the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS), today signed a memorandum of understanding with the Kosovo Correctional Service (KCS) and the Kosovo Probation Service (KPS)). 

The agreement aims at cooperation between institutions as well as the support of strategic objectives in the field of training for law enforcers in Kosovo.    

The agreement was signed by the Acting General Director of the Academy, Kastriot Jashari and the Acting General Director of the Correctional Service, Ismail Dibrani. 

While at the Probation Service, the agreement was signed by director Jashari and the General Director of KPS, Arsim Tahiri. 

During the signing of the agreement, the two parties agreed to cooperate through joint activities for the training of law enforcement officials in the Republic of Kosovo. 

On this occasion, the acting General Director, Kastriot Jashari, said that the Academy is ready to cooperate with any institution that deals with safety in order to advance the law enforcers.

All the signatories of the agreement assessed that the signing of the agreement opens the paths for cooperation in the field of training aimed at the advancement of all those who deal with public safety.

In the agreement it is stated that the institutions will have mutual cooperation in raising the capacities of the officials of the public safety institutions, KAPS in close cooperation with the institutions that signed the agreement prepares the training plan based on the training needs analysis according to the regulation in force of government for the planning of trainings organized by KAPS, the Academy will offer professional, basic, advanced and specialized trainings to all public safety institutions with which there is a cooperation agreement, etc.
