The Academy signed a memorandum of understanding with PIK and Kosovo Customs

Vushtrri, September 20, 2023 - The Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS), today signed a memorandum of understanding with the Kosovo Police Inspectorate (KPI) and the Kosovo Customs (KC).

The agreement was signed by the Acting General Director of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety, Kastriot Jashari and the Chief Executive of the Police Inspectorate of Kosovo, Kushtrim Hodaj 

While with Kosovo Customs, the agreement was signed between Director Jashari and the General Director of customs, Agron Llugaliu,

The agreement is aimed at achieving common strategic objectives between the Academy and these institutions, in the field of training and raising the quality in the development of capacities in the field of public safety.

The key points of the agreement of understanding are; Engagement of the training staff of the Police Inspectorate of  Kosovo and Kosovo Customs in providing training programs at the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety, Cooperation in raising the capacities of officials of Public Safety Institutions through training, Creating a network of mentors for the period of internship at the workplace of cadets of the professional training program, etc. 

Otherwise, the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety has close cooperation with all public safety institutions in the country.
