Deputy Minister Gashani visited the Kosovo Academy for Public

Vushtrri, August 25, 2023 - The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Kosovo, Mr.Blerim Gashani, today visited the Kosovo Academy for Public Security. Deputy Minister Gashani met with the Acting General Director of the Academy, Mr.Kastriot Jashari.

The purpose of the visit was to talk about the activities that are being developed and those that are planned to be developed in the near future at the Academy.

On this occasion, Deputy Minister Gashani said that the Ministry of Internal Affairs will further support the Academy in raising its capacities for training in the field of public security.

During the visit, it was assessed that the Academy has an important role in the country, as it provides training for all public safety officials.

In addition, was assessed the need for continuous and specialized training for security officials, in order for them to be ready to face different risk situations.

While the acting general director of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety, Mr.Kastriot Jashari, thanked the Deputy Minister Gashani and the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the support provided to the Academy.

The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr.Blerim Gashani, during the visit to the Academy was accompanied by the official of the cabinet of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Mrs. Aulona Bytyqi. The director of the Department of Finance and General Services of the Academy, Mr.Rrahim Rexha, and the Head of the Division for External Relations, Mr. Avni Istrefi, also participated in the meeting.
