A delegation from the General Inspectorate of Security Forces from the Czech Republic have visited the Academy

 Vushtrri, May 31, 2023 - The Kosovo Academy for Public Security (KAPS) was visited today by a delegation from the General Inspectorate of the Security Forces of the Czech Republic headed by the Director of this inspectorate, Mr. Radim Dragoun.

The delegation was hosted by the Acting General Director of the Academy, Mr, Kastriot Jashari. The purpose of the visit of the delegation in question, consisting of the Deputy Director, Mr. Vít Hendrych and Head of Legal and External Affairs, Mr. Josef Ježek, was to become more familiar with the mission and vision of the Academy.

Mr. Kastriot Jashari the Acting General Director of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety, expressed satisfaction about the visit of the delegation of the General Inspectorate of the Security Forces from the Czech Republic.

During the meeting, Mr. Jashari informed the Czech delegation about the developments and activities that will be carried out in the future at the Academy.

Furthermore, the director Jashari also spoke about the cooperation that the Academy has with the relevant institutions of the Czech Republic, which it currently develops through its participation in European associations and mechanisms, such as the EU Agency for Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL) the Association of European Police Colleges (AEPC) and Association of European Fire Service Colleges (EFSCA).

Meanwhile, the director of the General Inspectorate of the Security Forces of the Czech Republic, Mr. Radim Dragoun, speaking about the mandate of the institution he leads, expressed his interest in the training and higher education that takes place at the Academy for Public Safety agencies.

The delegation from the General Inspectorate of the Security Forces and the management of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety agreed on deepening the cooperation between these two institutions.

During the visit to the Academy, the above-mentioned delegation was accompanied by the Chief Executive of the Police Inspectorate of Kosovo, Mr. Kushtrim Hodaj.
