"Instructor Training Program" is completed at the Academy

Vushtrri, March 11th 2022 – At the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS), sixteen (16) officers for Fire Protection and Rescue from the Republic of Albania, today completed the training "Instructor Training Program". The training was held in the framework of cooperation in the field of security between the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety and the Academy for Public Safety from Albania.

The graduation ceremony was attended by the Deputy General Director of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety Kastriot Jashari, the Director of Training and Logistical Support of the Security Academy from Albania Arben Cara as well as other officials from the Academy and the Emergency Management Agency in Kosovo.

Deputy Director General of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety Kastriot Jashari, during the certification ceremony said that such trainings have a positive impact on capacity building of the members of public safety institutions. "From such trainings the participants gain new knowledge where they will bring new values to their organization where they work. We have tried to be in line with your needs during this period of training so that you can fulfill them during your work in Albania ", said Jashari.

Deputy Director Jashari promised that the Academy will continue cooperation with the Academy of Public Safety in Albania. 

While the Director of Training and Logistic Support of the Albanian Security Academy Arben Cara expressed his happiness that he attended the graduation ceremony of Fire Protection and Rescue officers, who completed the training at the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety.  

Cara expressed hope that cooperation in the field of public safety such as training and exchange of experiences will continue.

Otherwise, these are the first instructors in the Republic of Albania for Fire Protection and Rescue who are certified at the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety.

The purpose of the training was to strengthen the skills of relevant actors to perform their work efficiently. The training lasted one month and the lecturers in this training were the instructors of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety.
