Director Smakiqi hosted in a meeting Mr.Himberg and Mr.Tabur

Vushtrri March 18, 2013 - General Director of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety, Mr.Ismail Smakiqi today hosted in meeting the Rector of the Finnish Police College, Kimmo Himberg and rector of Estonian Public Safety Academy Lauri Tabur.
During the meeting, the topic of discussion was the development of curriculum and the creation of a better system of education in the field of safety. During the meeting Smakiqi spoke about the mission, vision and the recent developments that the Academy is going through.
Smakiqi also briefed the delegation from Estonia and Finland about the flow of the twinning project, a project that has to do with the establishing of the Academy in an institution of higher education.
 On this occasion director Smakqi said that the Academy will be committed in full partnership with Government of Kosovo, European Commission and with representatives of project that the twinning project to be completed successfully.  He estimated that the twinning project has progressed so far in the best possible way. Whereas both rectors Himberg and Tabur encouraged director Smakiqi about the progress achieved in the Academy, meanwhile they claim to be willing in the future as well to continue the cooperation between Finland, Estonia and Kosovo
