In the Academy was held following meeting of the Twinning Project

Vushtrri, January 24, 2013 - Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS), was held the next meeting of the Steering Committee of the Twinning Project.
This meeting was attended by General Directo of the Academy Ismail Smakiqi, Project leader to Twinning Anti Haikio, representatives of security institutions and local and international representatives. National and international partners involved in this project were satisfied with the implementation of the project to this stage,  and expressed their readiness to support further the Twinning Project. General Director of KAPS, Ismail Smakiqi, said that the Academy will be dedicated in partnership with Government, European Commission and representatives of the project, the process is successfully completed. He estimated that up to this phase of the implementation of the project was realised in the best way possible. As leader of the Twinning Project, Anti Haikio, said that Kosovo Academy for Public Safety in the near future will serve as a model not only in the Balkans and beyond. He estimated the good co-operation with all partners made the project to be realised in this phase as it was planned. Twinning project is funded by the European Commission, which was won by Finland and Estonia and has to do with improving education in the public safety sectors in Kosovo.
