Twinning project leader from Finland and Estonia, Anti Häikiö, visited the Center for Public Safety, Education and Development

Vushtrri, October 20, 2011 – the Kosovo Center for Public Safety, Education and Development was visited by Anti Häikiö, the twinning project leader from Finland and Estonia, which was hosted by Chief Executive, Mr. Ismail Smakiqi, and representatives of the agencies.
The purpose of this project is improvement of education in public safety sectors in Kosovo During the meeting Mr. Anti Häikiö explained  the first draft of the Twinning Project contract, "Improvement of education in the public safety sectors", expressing his conviction for KCPSED accreditation in higher level  education institution, while Chief Smakiqi expressed full support and readiness for cooperation, which will lead up to successful accomplishment of project objectives. The same readiness expressed and representatives of the public security agencies, who were encouraged by raising the level of training and excellent opportunity to offer higher education in KCPSED. This twinning project is funded by the Liaison Office of the European Commission and will last two years, from January 2012 until the end of 2013.
