KFOR gives a donation to the Kosovo Police

Vushtrri, January 14, 2022 – Today, at the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety, KFOR donated a set of first aid equipment that will serve public security officials during training at the Academy. 



This donation, which is dedicated to the Defense Tactics and Physical Skills Training Unit for the Kosovo Police, is worth about 15,000 euros.


The ceremony of acceptance of this donation was attended by the General Director of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety Mr. Arton Berisha, Deputy Director of Police Mr.Dejan Jankovic and other security officials.


The donation was delivered by KFOR Deputy Commander General Luca Piper. 


The General Director of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety, Mr.Arton Berisha thanked KFOR for the donation and for the continuous support given to the security institutions in Kosovo.


On this occasion, Director Berisha thanked KFOR for its commitment to the security of the citizens of Kosovo and for its assistance in building the capacity of security institutions through numerous trainings, projects and donations.


The Deputy Director of the Kosovo Police, Mr. Dejan Jankovic, also thanked KFOR for the continuous support provided to the Kosovo Police, whether with training or work equipment and devices for different KP Units.


Mr. Jankovic assessed that these equipment are very necessary for the Kosovo Police.


KFOR Deputy Commander General Luca Piper praised the work done at the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety, while expressing his happiness for giving this donation. He said that KFOR in the future will continue cooperation with security institutions in the country.
