The Commander of KFOR Multinational Battalion in north Mr. Colonel Chaxel visited KCPSED

Vushtrri, 22 April '10 - Chief Executive Officer at the Center for Public Safety Education and Development (KCPSED) Mr. Sheremet Ahmeti hosted today the Commander of KFOR Multinational Battalion in north Mr. Colonel Chaxel.

KFOR delegation was hosted by Program Support Director, Ali Bajgora, the Leadership Division Head Abaz Ahmeti, Legal Office Chief Mr.Dukagjin Dinaj and representatives of security agencies at the Center, from Kosovo Police Lieutenant-Colonel Driton Zabërgja, from Emergency Department Rahman Sefedini, from Correctional Service Tahir Krasniqi and from Kosovo Customs Bekim Mehmetaj. The chief Executive Mr. Ahmeti informed commander Chaxel about works, activities and priorities that Kosovo Center for Public Safety, Education and Development has.
During the meeting, Chief Executive Mr. Ahmeti and Commander Mr. Chaxel talked about all matters which are under the KCPSED competencies. Wishing him hearty welcome, Chief Executive Mr. Ahmeti the KFOR delegation visit has estimated as very high one.
"Your visit is very important in the spirit of cooperation, this cooperation which will continue in the future as well," said Ahmeti.
Mr. Ahmeti said that the Center has consistently had the support of international organizations in various fields, and among them is KFOR, which has made a special contribution to capacity building of the Centre
While the Commander of KFOR Multinational Battalion in north Mr. Colonel Chaxel said that KFOR has supported and will continue to support the center in the future.
At the end of the meeting they made a tour around the KCPSED premises in order to get familiar to some of the infrastructure and equipment that officers of public safety agencies are trained.
