In the Academy was held the International Seminar for Police Control and Supervision

Vushtrri December 8th 2015- The Academy for Public Safety today launched the International Seminar on the Supervision and Control of Police which is organized by the Police Inspectorate of Kosovo in cooperation with the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF).

 Chief Executive of the Police Inspectorate Fitim Shishani initially welcomed the participants and thanked the Academy for Public Safety for the possibility this seminar to be held in the Academy. He said he was happy that the Police Inspectorate of Kosovo in cooperation with DCAF hosts a high-level conference. 

The seminar intended to gather representatives of security institutions for control and police supervision from different countries to discuss actual practices and exchange of experiences in the field of control and police supervision.

 Participants in this workshop, in addition to officials from the Republic of Kosovo institutions, are also representatives of police supervision institutions from France, Hungary, Ireland, Norway, Albania, Netherlands etc.
