A delegation from the Academy of Safety Sciences in Estonia visited the Academy
Vushtrri, May 24, 2022 – The Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS), today visited a delegation from the Academy of Safety Sciences in Estonia led by Kadri Ann Salla, Deputy Director of the College of Police and Border Police, where they met with the Acting General Director of the Academy Kastriot Jashari and senior management.
The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the mission, vision and developments in the Academy.
The Acting General Director of the Academy Kastriot Jashari, welcoming the delegation, thanked them for their visit to the Academy.
Jashari informed the delegation about the developments in the Academy, the functioning of the Faculty of Public Safety, the implemented projects as well as the challenges that KAPS has gone through.
During the meeting, Acting General Director Kastriot Jashari informed the delegation about the cooperation that the Academy has with the Safety Academy in Estonia in the field of training for members of public safety.
Speaking about international cooperation, Jashari said that the exchange of experiences between academies in the field of public safety is welcome.
Jashari expressed readiness for cooperation between the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety and the Academy of Safety Sciences in Estonia to continue.
The delegation was also informed about the methods of education and curricula in the field of police, curriculum development, opportunities to use the e-learning platform (distance learning), organizing the practical part about the evaluation system / feedback and quality assurance, etc.
While the delegation from the Academy of Safety Sciences in Estonia were interested in the methods that the Academy has for training and education of safety members and the challenges in which KAPS has passed.
