The information day about the Erasmus + program was held at the Academy

Vushtrri, January 11, 2024 – Today, at the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS) was held the Information Day about the Erasmus+program.   This activity was aimed at disseminating information about the new application rules and procedures in the Erasmus + Program.

On November 28 of the year we left behind, the Erasmus+ Program launched new calls for 2024. The students and the academic staff of the Faculty of Public Safety (FPS) during this meeting were also informed about the new benefits that the faculty may have from this program.

As part of the information day of the Erasmus+ program, the coordinator of the Erasmus+ office in Kosovo, Mrs. Mimika Dobroshi accompanied by Mrs. Blerina Zjaça, informed the attendees about the differences between the new calls and the calls of last year, i.e. 2023.

The officials from the Erasmus+ Program explained the new application rules and the conditions that must be met to be a beneficiary of this program.


In this meeting, among the points that were discussed was the mobility of individuals for both higher education and professional education, then capacity building in the higher education system as well as the Erasmus+ card for Higher Education (ECHE), which is in the plans of KAPS to apply in the near future.
While the representatives from the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety are optimistic that the students and teachers of the Faculty of Public Safety will be able to benefit even more from the Erasmus + program in the future.


In this meeting have participated; The Dean of the Faculty of Public Safety Mr. Ferid Azemi, the Head of the Division for External Relations at KAPS Mr. Avni Istrefi as well as other senior representatives of the Academy.
Otherwise, the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety through the Eramsus+ program from 2016 until last year 2023, has exchanged 122 students, members of the academic and administrative staff, of which 97 are outgoing and 25 incoming, with 5 institutions of higher education from the countries of the European Union. With the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences, the Brandenburg University of Applied Police Sciences in Germany, the Norwegian Police University College, the LAUREA University of Applied Sciences in Finland and the Fire University in Poland.
