OSCE donates a donation for Public Safety Agencies
Vushtrri, 14 December 2009 - Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) donated a donation for Kosovo Centre for Public Safety, Education and Development and order and security agencies in Kosovo. This donation contained ''simulation room for Crisis Management'' which will be used for four public safety agencies; Kosovo Police, Department of Emergency Management, Kosovo Customs and Kosovo Correctional Service
Participants in the ceremony were; Miss. Canolli KCPSED Acting Executive Chief, Carsten Twelmeire Director of Department for Public Order and Security in the OSCE, Lt / Colonel Driton Zabergja, Vassilka Timova Head of Unit for Training Development of Order and Public Safety Department, Kosovo police, DEM, Kosovo Customs and Managing Staff of the Centre.
Mr. Carsten stressed that this is one of the last projects of the end of 2009. The purpose of this donation is to support public safety agencies that their theoretical training to implement in practice. We will continue to help KCPSED in the future as well.
Miss. Canolli stated that the Centre held numerous training and this project is very important for the four Public Safety agencies in Kosovo. Creating such a simulation room, is a great help to agencies that will be reflected in their professionalism. We will support such projects; projects that in the future will have benefits and professionalism in trainings which will be held in KCPSED
Lt/ colonel Zabergja stressed that this is a major project for the Kosovo Police, a project that will help in the practical work of the Kosovo Police which will reflect positively on the work which would exercise in maintaining order and public safety of all citizens the Republic of Kosovo.
At the end of the ceremony, Mrs. z.Carsten donated keys to Miss. Canolli where they made the ribbon cutting of this simulation room.
