Center for Public Safety became a member of INTERPA

Vushtrri, 04 July '11 - Center for Public Safety, Education and Development (KCPSED) became member of International Association of Police Academies (INTERPA). Executive Chief of the Center for Public Safety, Education and Development, Mr. Sheremet Ahmeti, has announced after his return from a two-day official visit to the Republic of Turkey
 
Executive Chief Mr.Ahmeti accompanied by the Director of the Department for Training Support Program Mr. Dukagjin Dinaj, during their official visit in Turkey took part in the signing of the draft protocol for the establishment of the International Association of Police Academies (INTERPA), which was signed in Istanbul on 2 July, where in addition to participation in this signing KCPSED also became a member of this Association

International Association of Police Academies (INTERPA) aims to establish a platform of communication, cooperation, coordination and exchange of experiences with the member states of this association.
The purpose of establishing this association is the fight against crime, terrorism, smuggling, human trafficking and all other negative occurrences.

KCPSED Senior Management within their official visit to Turkey took part in a ceremony of the Turkish National Police Academy in Ankara. During this ceremony Executive Chief Mr. Ahmeti had friendly meeting with President of the Republic of Turkey, Abdullah Gul, and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Except others, the Executive Chief Mr.Ahmeti met with senior representatives of the Turkish Police Academy where they discussed further cooperation between Kosovo and Turkey. Mr. Ahmeti said that during meetings highly is estimated the bilateral cooperation between the two countries and expressed willingness to enhance and deepen the relations in all areas with specific emphasis on security in the area of training.
