Assembly deputies visited KAPS

 Vushtrri, 09 September 2012 –A group of parliamentarians who are members of the Parliamentary Committee for Internal Affairs and Security in Kosovo Assembly headed by the chairman of the committee Ahmeti Isufi today visited Kosovo Academy for Public Safety , they were welcomed by  General Director  Ismail Smakiqi.
The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted more closely with the work and developments that take place in the Academy.Director Smakiqi informed  the deputies  about all training activities that take place in KAPS .
Also Smakiqi inform lawmakers for the twinning project and for the purpose of  Academy  that in the near future to become a Bachelor system.
Smakiqi informed the deputies that in Academy are trained not just members of public safety of Republic of Kosovo, but also from other countries in the region.
Meanwhile, deputies assessed that Kosovo Academy for Public Safety see as an appropriate and versatile place to provide scientific knowledge to the members of public safety in the country.
Member of the Kosovo Parliament on this occasion promised to give support to the Academy in every aspect.
Also stated that the capacity of the Academy as well as empowerment and continuous development  of this very important institution meets the requirements and standards for a more qualitative education not only for the security agencies in the country but also abroad..
