KCPSED Chief Executive, Sheremet Ahmeti hosted at the meeting the Director of Police Training School of Turkey, Ahmet Pala
Vushtrri, July 14-'10 Center for Public Safety, Education and Development (KCPSED) today is visited by a delegation from Turkey headed by the Director of Police Training School in Nazili from Turkey Mr. Ahmet Pala. The delegation was hosted by the Chief Executive of the Centre, Mr. Sheremet Ahmeti, Senior Center officials, representatives of agencies that operate within KCPSED and OSCE representatives. The purpose of this visit was the continuation of cooperation between two academies, Center for the Public Safety and Police Training School of Turkey.
Initially Mr.Ahmeti informed the delegation with all the achievements of the Centre, the concept, vision and trainings that are held at the Centre by all agencies as the Kosovo Police, Emergency Department, Correctional Services and Kosovo Customs.
Chief Executive Mr.Ahmeti said that Kosovo Center for Public Safety has excellent cooperation with the Police Training School in Turkey. In this context, Mr. Ahmeti praised the level of bilateral relations between Kosovo and Turkey and underlined the necessity of their strengthening
"We will soon sign a memorandum of cooperation with the Police Training School of Turkey which will enable the exchange of experience between two Centers of Public Safety of Kosovo and Turkey," said Mr.Ahmeti. In this case Mr.Ahmeti thanked the Turkish state for assistance and contribution in Kosovo particularly for this Center. Whereas the Director of the Police Training School of Turkey Mr Ahmet Nazili Pala thanked the Center for Hospitality, and said that the purpose of the visit was the cooperation and exchange of experience between Turkish PTS and KCPSED
"Turkey has helped Kosovo and will continue to help in the future, and we as a School will help and support continuously the Center for Public Safety, said the Pala. During the meeting the Director of Program Support Department Ali Bajgora in front of Turkish delegation made a presentation of the Centre.
At the end of the visit (the Turkish delegation) made a visit to the Centre facilities and some training equipment that members of the public security agencies are trained with.
