The Academy and the Safety Faculty in North Macedonia signed the cooperation agreement
Prishtinë, November 17 2022 – At the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety, the cooperation agreement was signed today with the Faculty of Safety at the University "St. Kliment Ohridski" Manastir in North Macedonia.
The agreement was signed by the Acting General Director of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety Kastriot Jashari and the dean of the Faculty of Safety at the University "St. Kliment Ohridski" Manastir in North Macedonia Nikola Dujovski.
The purpose of the agreement is to continue the long-term and stable cooperation between the two institutions to support their strategic objectives in the field of higher education, research and development as well as in public relations.
The Acting Director of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety Kastriot Jashari said that the signing of the agreement with North Macedonia is very important for the Academy and for every public safety official.
Jashari said that the Academy is ready to sign any agreement related to the improvement and advancement of law enforcement officers.
"The agreements pave the way for cooperation in the field of training aimed at the advancement of all those who deal with the field of safety," said Jashari.
Also, the dean of the Faculty of Safety at the University "St. Kliment Ohridski" Manastir in North Macedonia Nikola Dujovski said that the signing of the agreement is very important because it contributes to the advancement of institutions and safety officials.
Dujovski congratulated the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety for its development in safe steps.
The cooperation agreement between the two security institutions includes the development and coordination of education in higher education and continuing vocational education; Research links, exchange of information and results, visits of research personnel and offers for research funding from the European Union and other international agencies in the fields of policing, internal security and law enforcement; exchange and staff visits for advice and coordination of standards, courses and curriculum development and other educational and pedagogical issues, supporting mentoring, counseling and training for academic and administrative staff.
The agreement also includes the academic exchange between the two Institutions that will be encouraged within the framework of the general agreement and will be used for further research and development of training and studies in the defined areas of common interest.
Alternatively, in the initial stages of the cooperation agreement, the staff of both institutions will try to identify areas of common research and development interests, through which detailed cooperation can be increased for the benefit of both parties. This includes the exchange of research information, followed by visiting delegations.
