The Academy signed a cooperation agreement also with the Kosovo Forensic Agency
Vushtrri, 01 October 2020 - In continuation of collaborations with local and international institutions, Kosovo Academy for Public Safety, today signed a cooperation agreement with the Kosovo Forensic Agency.
The agreement, which was signed by the General Director of the Academy Ismail Smakiqi and the Chief Executive of the Kosovo Forensic Agency Blerim Olluri, aims at cooperation between the two institutions to support and realize common interests in the field of training, study, research and development.
The General Director of the Academy Ismail Smakiqi and Chief Executive of Forensics Blerim Olluri during the signing assessed that this agreement will have a positive impact on increasing and strengthening cooperation through each will be facilitated the procedures of training, study, research and development in involvement in possible joint projects, etc.
Also within the agenda a visit took place in the premises of the Kosovo Forensic Agency, where the KAPS delegation was more closely acquainted with the work, staff and achievements of Forensics.Chief Executive Officer Blerim Olluri made a presentation on the functioning of the agency where he highlighted their goal towards continuous growth and development, quality assurance and achievement of the highest international standards through periodic accreditation processes within the field of forensic activity.
General Director of KAPS Ismail Smakiqi, highly appreciated the work of the agency and expressed gratitude for the scientific work and achievements of the KFA as a credible institution and equivalent with other international institutions in the field of forensics. Smakiqi stressed the great importance of recognitions, respectively continuous local and international institutional accreditations and work processes of both institutions which have achieved the highest international standards within the respective field of activities.
