27 PIK employees were trained by FBI agents to combat corruption

Vushtrri, August 29, 2019 – At the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS), is completed the training which was conducted by ICITAP, were have attended 27 PIK employees.  

This training is a continuation of ICITAP supporting thef PIK in strengthening professional capacities in the field of investigations.

Lecturers of this training were senior experts of the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) from the United States of America.

In the graduation ceremony also has attended the Head of PIK Mrs. Miradije Kelmendi, who in her speech thanked the experts and ICITAP officials for their contribution in enhancing professionalism in PIK.

At the ceremony has attended also Mrs. Kimberly Riffe, ICITAP Program Leader in Kosovo and the Director of KAPS Mr.Ismail Smakiqi who highly appreciated the importance of strengthening the PIK capacities in combating corruption and organized crime.
