A delegation of police women from the United Kingdom visited the Academy
Vushtrri, 07 December 2018 – A delegation of female police officers from the United Kingdom accompanied by Shpresa Muharremi, an Advisor to the OSCE and Shpresa Mulliqi, visited the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS), where they were welcomed by the Director of the Training and Education Support Department Mr.Kastriot Jashari and other Senior Management of the Academy.
The Director of Education and Training Department Mr. Kastriot Jashari informed the delegation for the important developments and processes of the Academy, for the realization of training's etc..
Also the delegation in question was informed about the ongoing cooperation that the Academy has with the countries of the region and beyond, for cooperation between the Academy and the OSCE in the field of trainings for members of public security.
Jashari also spoke about the international co-operation that the Academy has, for membership in such important organizations as INTERPA, CEPOL, International Accreditation of the Academy by the International Association of Standards Directors and the United States Law Enforcement Training (IADLEST).
While the delegation was satisfied with the visit to the Academy, they were particularly interested in the methods that the Academy is using for Training of Public Safety Members.
