The regular meeting of the Academy Board was held

Vushtrri, September 11, 2018 – Today, at the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety was held regular meeting of the Academy Board.

In this meeting attended Director General of the Academy Ismail Smakiqi, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Security Nexhat Jashari, Director General of Kosovo Police Rashit Qalaj, Director General of Kosovo Probation Service Bajram Bujupi, also Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer of Kosovo Police Inspectorate Miradije Kelmendi, Kosovo Customs Director General Bahri Berisha, Director General of Kosovo Correctional Service Nehat Thaqi, Director General of Emergency Management Agency Fadil Kodra, Director of OSCE Department of Justice and Security Ake Roghe, Krista Haak project leader from the member states, Ritva Vahakoski Resident Twinning Project Advisor, Drita Perezic from ICITAP, as well as senior officials from relevant institutions.
In his introductory speech, the Chairman of the Board Bajram Bujupi welcomed the participants; also he congratulated and wished good luck to the newly appointed Director of Kosovo Police, Rashit Qalaj, as well as cooperation as a regular member of the Academy Board

The most important topic in this meeting was the report on the development of the student competition admission in the Bachelor program and the proposal to change quotas and sub-quotas for Public Safety Institutions in Bachelor studies for the academic year 2018/19, review of the six month KAPS work report, January-June 2018, and the establishment of a working group for determining mandatory training for training staff of the Academy.

During the meeting, General Director of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety Mr. Ismail Smakiqi has presented six-month work report of the KAPS.

The Academy's work and success was highly praised by the attendees at this meeting.
