The Board of the Academy held is next regular meeting

Vushtrri, June 25, 2018 - The Board of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety held today the regular meeting in which  participated; General Director of the Academy , Ismail Smakiqi, Acting Dean of the Public Safety Faculty, Nexhat Jashari, Director of Kosovo General Probation Service,  Bajram Bujupi, Acting General Director of Kosovo Police, Naim Rexha, Chief Executive Officer of Kosovo Police Inspectorate Miradije Kelmendi , General Director of Kosovo Customs Bahri Berisha, General Director of Kosovo Correctional Service Nehat Thaqi, General Director of Emergency Management Agency Fadil Kodra, Senior OSCE Adviser Shpresa Muharremi and senior officials from respective institutions.

The important topics of discussion at this meeting were the determination of the quota for public security institutions in basic bachelor studies for the academic year 2018/19 at the Faculty of Public Safety at the Academy; discussion about the document on common policies for the implementation of the scope of the law on KAPS for the fulfillment of accreditation standards and accreditation of the Academy by IADLEST.
Following the approval of the Agenda by the Board of Academy, the General Director of Kosovo Academy for Public Safety Ismail Smakiqi spoke about the work as well as the International Accreditation Process of the Academy by the International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards and Training (IADLEST), and the Accreditation of the Academy by the National Qualifications Authority for Professional Programs as; New Police Officer, PIK Inspector, Customs Officers, Correctional Officers and Probation Officers.

The participants at this meeting highly praised the achievements of the Academy and congratulated Director Smakiqi for this success of the Academy also at the international arena.
