At the Academy was completed the training "Joint Response 2018"

Vushtrri, 16 February  2018 - At the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety, today was completed the training on "Joint Response 2018" , organized by the Agency for Emergency Management in cooperation with the United States Embassy in Kosova, the Iowa Guard and the United States Federal Emergency Management Agency.

In this closing exercise, the attendees also welcomed the Iowa National Guard Commander Timothy Orr as well as the Director of Emergency Management Agency Fadil Kodra.

Also participants in this closing training, “Joint Response 2018", highly praised the organization of this exercise that aimed  testing of the national response plan.


The objectives of this training were to test communication, interagency coordination, response capacity testing, emergency medical service, evacuation and shelter, public information in emergency situations etc.

At the end, all officials from participating institutions supported by international partners expressed readiness for cooperation in the future.

In this four day training, participants were officials from all institutions of the Republic of Kosovo.
