The academy was visited by a delegation of Italian KFOR
Vushtrri, 04 October 2017 - Today the Academy for Public Safety was visited by an Italian KFOR's delegation led by Commander of the Multinational Specialized Unit Regiment (MSU), Colonel Marco Di Stefano.
The delegation was welcomed by Director of Training and educational support Department Kastriot Jashari, Director of Finance Department and General Administration Rrahim Rexha, Personnel Manager Jeton Koca and Senior Officers from KAPS.
Initially Director Jashari greeted the participants and briefed them with the work, mission and vision of the Academy.
During this meeting, he also spoke about the trainings that take place at the Academy by Safety Agencies and the twinning project of the European Commission which has made possible the opening of bachelor studies in KAPS, with particular emphasis Director Jashari spoke about international co-operation which has the Academy with different European countries and wider.
Director Jashari thanked Italian KFOR for their contribution to their peacekeeping mission in Kosovo and in particular to the Academy, as well as mentioning the help of Italian soldiers who have been given to people with disabilities during the days of mini-Olympics at the Academy.
The Italian KFOR Delegation was pleased with the visit to the Academy, where their interest was related to the trainings, the rankings of the Kosovo Police as well as the instructors who teach at the Academy.
At the end the delegation accompanied by the senior management of the Academy visited the accompanying facilities, where instructors informed them about the practical work developed by the members of the public safety.
