Kosovo Academy for Public Safety was visited by a delegation from the Police of the Republic of Turkey
Vushtrri, 15 August 2017 - Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS) today was visited by a delegation from the Police of the Republic of Turkey led by Barish Uyansoy Director of the Department for Training and Management.
The delegation was also accompanied by the Chief of the TIKA Office in Prishtina Hasan Burak and the Deputy Chief of the TIKA Office, Fulya Aslan.
Director Smakiqi during this meeting informed the delegation for the important processes of the Academy, for the opening of the Faculty of Safety, the twinning project IPA II- funded by the European Union, international cooperation and in particular he spoke about the cooperation with the Police of the Republic of Turkey where they have given an extraordinary contribution for the training of members of the Kosovo Police.
On this occasion, Director Smakiqi thanked the delegation from Turkey for the unsparing assistance given to the Academy for the professional development of security members, for their excellent cooperation, and for their readiness to assist the Academy in the future.
The delegation from the Police of the Republic of Turkey encouraged Director Smakiqi for the achievements, and they also expressed their readiness for cooperation and support in the future.
At the end the delegation together with the management of the Academy visited the accompanying facilities, where through the presentations from the instructors were informed about the practical part where the members of the public safety develop the trainings.
