Director Smakiqi attended in the presentation of the Police Education in Netherlands

Vushtrri, April 18, 2017- Director General of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS) Mr. Ismail Smakiqi accompanied by the Head of Foreign Relations Division Mr. Avni Istrefi, have had attended the presentation of Police Education, respectively the course "Introduction of Police Education of the country below sea level", at the Police Academy Apeldoorn in the Netherlands, which lasts from 10/04/2017 until 04/14/2017.

In this presentation have had attended 28 participants from 18 countries of Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America (mainly the representatives of Police Academies from representative countries).

the participants were hosted by representatives from the Police Academy in Apeldoorn, from whom they have heard presentations for; the Netherlands Police, for the Netherlands Police Academy, Recruitment and Selection, Management and Leadership, Bachelor and Master of the Netherlands Police. Participants also have visited two training centers in Eindhoven and Ossendrecht.

However, the Netherlands has a National Police Academy, with Headquarters in Apeldoorn, but has the training or education centers of Police in seven other cities in the Netherlands.
