It was held the regular meeting of board of the Academy

Vushtrri,  23 December 2016-  Board of Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS), today held a last meeting  for this year where were discussed issues related to the functioning of the Academy and the Faculty of Public Safety.

In this meeting was the Director General of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety, Ismail Smakiqi, Deputy Director of the Kosovo Police, Naim Rexha, State Prosecutor Alexander Lumezi, act. Director General of the Correctional Service Sokol Zogaj, Director General of Police Inspectorate of Kosovo, Hilmi Mehmeti, representative from the Probation Service, Armend Mustafa, act. Director General of Kosovo Customs Fahri Gashi, Director General of the Emergency Management Agency Fadil Kodra, representatives from the OSCE Shpresa Muharram and ICITAP Drita Perziq. 

At this meeting the Director General of the Academy Ismail Smakiqi presented the activity report for 2016 and was made the review of the project of training for 2017. 

The attendants highly appreciated the work and the achievements that have been made this year in the Academy. 

Also during the meeting the director Smakiqi informed the participants on the feasibility study for postgraduate studies in the safety sector at the Academy. 

OSCE expert, Klaus Welter, made a presentation of feasibility about the possibility of the opening of the master program at the Academy. 

ICITAP representative Drita Perziq during the meeting said that ICITAP will continue to support the Academy in the future.
