Director Smakiqi visited the German KFOR in Prizren

Vushtrri, July 7, 2016 - A delegation of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS), led by the Director General Mr. Ismail Smakiqi, visited the German contingent of KFOR in Prizren.

At this meeting, the Director Smakiqi with senior staff of the Academy, Director of Training Kastriot Jashari, and the Head of Foreign Relations Avni Istrefi, were welcomed by the leader of the contingent, Colonel Siegfried ZEYER. During the meeting both sides exchanged information on the institutions that they are leading.

Director Smakiqi informed Mr. Zeyer about the role and activities of the KAPS, its vision as well as the training’s development.
   
Also, the KFOR German contingent was informed about the Twinning Project which is taking place in the Academy, foreign affairs and other current developments.


Colonel ZEYER informed director Smakiqi about developments and activities of the contingent of German KFOR, with special emphasis to the field which carries the German KFOR in Prizren and Kosovo too.

Colonel ZEYER offered possibility of training for firefighters and emergency and training to other public safety agencies, the Kosovo Police and the Kosovo Correctional Service.

The delegation of KAPS has also visited the premises of the contingent, where they exchanged infrastructural experiences in the similar fields of institutions.
