Assistant minister Mr. Goce Bačanov, of Police Training Center of Macedonia visited the Academy

Vushtrri, June 29, 2016 – Today Kosovo Academy for Public Safety was visited by Assistant Minister of Police Training Center of Macedonia, Mr. Goce Bačanov. Assistant minister Bačanov was hosted by Director General of the Academy Mr. Ismail Smakiqi and the high management of the Academy.

Discussion topic of this meeting was the trainings of the members of public safety as well as cooperation between the two countries.

Director Mr. Smakiqi informed the delegation on the achievements and activities of KAPS, the education, training, local and international cooperation, emphasizing particularly about the opening of the Faculty of Public Safety and other activities which take place in the Academy.

Also, during this meeting the Director Smakiqi and Assistant Minister Bačanov expressed the need to deepen the cooperation with the aim of increasing and advancing trainings of public safety members, and expressed their full readiness for cooperation and coordination between the two institutions.

At the end, they visited the other annex facilities, and through instructors’ presentations we were informed about the practical part where members develop training public safety.
