The meeting of the Board of the Academy was held
Vushtrri, 13 June 2016- Board of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS) today held its fifteenth meeting, during which they discussed issues related to the functioning of the Academy and the Faculty of Public Safety.
Discussion point on the agenda was the determination of quotas for Public Safety Institutions in bachelor basic studies for the academic year 2016-2017 in the Faculty of Public Safety at Academy. On this occasion, the Faculty functionality was rated positively.
Also during the meeting, board members of the Academy discussed the establishment of work group to determine the status of students in the relevant agencies upon completion of the Faculty of Public Safety in Academy.
Another discussion was the mobility of students of the Faculty, where the Dean of the Faculty of Public Safety, Nazmi Iballi spoke about the clarifying and importance of mobility.
Otherwise, the Director General of the Academy, Ismail Smakiqi informed the board members about expenditures and budget planning in the organization of trainings, urging them to support the Academy in this regard.
Further in the meeting of KAPS was made presentation of activity "further support of the Board of KAPS as a coordinating mechanism for the implementation of professional training for all Public Safety Agencies" of the Twining Project.
Besides the Director General of the Academy, Ismail Smakiqi, the meeting attended the Director General of Kosovo Customs, Lulzim Rafuna who is also Chairman of the Board, Director General of the Kosovo Police, Shpend Maxhuni, State Prosecutor Aleksander Lumezi, acting Director General of the Correctional Service Sokol Zogaj, Director General of the Police Inspectorate of Kosovo, Hilmi Mehmeti, Director of the Probation Service Bajram Bujupi, Director General of the Emergency Management Agency, Fadil Kodra and representatives from OSCE and ICITAP
