The 53-rd generation of the Kosovo Police cadets has graduated
Vushtrri, March.25-th.20016 - At the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS),after a six-month training, today the 53-rd generation of the Kosovo Police cadets graduated.
The graduation ceremony attended by the Minister of Internal Affairs (MIA), Skender Hyseni, Director General of the Kosovo Police, Shpend Maxhunaj, Director General of the Academy, Ismail Smakiqi, commander of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), Rahman Rama, the OSCE Ambassador in Kosovo, Jean-Claude Schlumberger, General director of the Police Inspectorate of Kosovo, Fitim Shishani, General director of the Kosovo Customs, Lulzim Rafuna, executives of public safety agencies and representatives of local and international institutions.
Minister of Internal Affairs (MIA), Skender Hyseni, during the graduation ceremony of the 53 rd. generation of the cadets said that Kosovo police is a democratic force, functional and the best in region.
Minister Hyseni, encouraging newly graduated cadets, said that the Kosovo Police is an organization, a professional police force built in accordance with the highest international standards. He said that the Government will not spare anything for Kosovo Police to be even more perfect, to be ready to face all the challenges that time brings.
Hyseni thanked all international organizations that have provided generous support to the formation of the police, have provided support to what the Kosovo police is now."Welcome to your organization of which I am sure you will enrich it, today the police becomes richer with 280 cadets more", said Minister Hyseni in the graduation ceremony of the 53rd generation of the Kosovo Police.
Director General of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS) Mr. Ismail Smakiqi said that to service in Kosovo Police is a very important decision that will serve families and all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo in general.
He said that the Academy is now a strong center of all kinds of contemporary trainings for all Public Safety Agencies.
Mr. Smakiqi said that the citizens eagerly await your introduction in the Kosovo Police", it is your turn to prove skills and knowledge what you have accomplished in the Academy, prove yourselves that you are a generation that you want your country to be democratic and fully respect the human rights".
Director Smakiqi said that the Academy is always ready and looking forward to the new generation of Kosovo Police, because he said that cadets are those who give charm to the Academy.
"Deserve the expectations of citizens and save eternally the right of citizens so you can look in their eyes proudly. Make your families proud and the Academy ", thus Smakiqi said to the newly graduated cadets.
Meanwhile, Director General of the Kosovo Police (KP), Shpend Maxhuni, at the graduation ceremony of cadets said that recent graduates will serve in the organization with respect in the country, as it is the Kosovo Police.
"Kosovo Police needs you, you are prepared and motivated to serve to the community with professionalism, ethics, honor and pride", expressed Maxhunaj by saying that police trainings are conducted to the highest European standards.
On this occasion Maxhunaj has asked cadets to perform their work with responsibility, professionalism, accuracy, efficiency, impartiality and honesty.
"Our vision is to implement the law, it is in the interest of all, is the right way, so follow this route to achieve this vision," said Maxhunaj, he added that the rule of law and order today is an essential precondition in all aspects society.
