The meeting of the Board of the Academy was held

Vushtrri, 14 March 2016- At the Academy for Public Safety was held the fourteenth meeting of the Board of the Academy, where was discussed issues relating to trainings, the twinning project and functioning of the Academy.

Director General of the Academy Ismail Smakiqi during the meeting presented annual report of work for 2015.

In the particular he emphasis  the achievements of the Academy, new twinning project IPA II, funded by the European Union relate to improvement of education in the field of safety, international cooperation and the development of training by safety agencies.

During the meeting the director of the Legal Office of the Academy, Shpend Shabani presented the draft work plan of Academy for 2016.

Also, to the Board of the Academy, the short-term expert of twinning project, Lauri Tabur made a presentation about the purpose of the project in question.

At the Board meeting the agenda was the election of a new chairman in 2016. Lulzim Rafuna who is also Director of the Kosovo Customs was elected by a majority votes.

This meeting was attended by State Prosecutor Alexander Lumezi, directors of public safety agencies, the Director of the Department for Public Order and Safety in the OSCE Karl Ake Roghe and Ritva Vahakoski resident advisor of the twinning project.
